How I spent my saturday.
Saturday I had the opportunity to go to my first San Francisco Giants game. I grew up worshipping the great game of baseball, and although other sports have surpassed it in my eyes, nothing compares to the experience of going to a baseball game. One thing everyone hates about going to sporting events is parking, finding a space close to the stadium paying way to much money to park there, then having to either leave the game in the 7th inning or wait an hour as traffic doesn’t move. Not a problem in San Francisco, I took the BART/MUNI trains that dropped me off at the stadium gates, and brought me right back to Daly City. All in all, it cost me the same as it would to park, but I had none of the headaches. After getting to the stadium I walked to my seat in center field. Wow what a view. The stadium was gorgeous, and the weather didn’t hurt. It was a very comfortable 60-70 degrees with a nice breeze. It was July 19th, and I was in jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. I really love San Francisco!!! In the 4th inning Marc, my brother-in-law, and I went to get some concessions. The walk along the right field fence was awesome. Baseball to the right, and to the left a beautiful view of the bay, and some kayakers hoping to catch a home run ball. The Giants were not able to win the game, but all in all it was a great experience. I hope that I get the chance to go again soon!!!
