Nobody is perfect, but some are close!

Published by jfgett at 7:08 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Every actor or actress has been in a movie that they wish they could go back and unmake. Some have more of these movies movies than they have good movies.(Ben Affleck) Here are some of my favorite actors, and there questionable movie choices.

Johnny Depp - The Secret Window

From the beginning of the movie I was waiting for it to turn around and get better. As I watched it with some other people we all kept saying “when is this gonna get better?” The answer was never. It was predictable, lame, and there was nothing memorable about this movie at all.

Jake Gyllenhaal - Bubble Boy

I want to preface this by saying I love Bubble Boy. It is a guilty pleasure. As I watch it, I keep saying to myself, “man this is a really bad movie.” But in the end it makes me laugh, and I love watching it. It is cliche, it is silly, and it has some of the craziest cameo’s ever.(Fabio as a cult leader) Jake is the best young star in Hollywood in my opinion, but this is one I am sure he wouldn’t mind not having on his resume.

Matt Damon - Stuck on You

Matt Damon is one of my favorite dramatic actors, unfortunately he decided to take his shot at slapstick comedy. The movie was not funny, and frankly I think a lot of that was Matt Damon. He is not meant for the genre, and it showed. This is the Jim Carrey trying to do drama syndrome in reverse. Some people just need to stick with what they do well, and for Matt it’s not slapstick.

Kiera Knightly - Domino

I have said many times, and will continue to say that Kiera Knightly is the future Mrs. Jeff. That being said, Domino fell flat. I think she was trying to step out, and do something new, and the look of Domino was certainly that, but in the end it still had Brian Austin Green and Ian Ziering.

Ewan McGregor - The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith

You can’t blame him for wanting to take on the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi. It’s not his fault George Lucas ruined the star wars franchise, and there is no way he could know it was going to happen. But it did happen, and that’s why he made my list.

That’s just some of my favorites, I am sure you have some. Post comments on who you love, and their bad movies. Or if you have someone you think has no bad movies, let me hear it.
